Cut yarn leaving a long tail for the assembly, sew around last 6 stitches, cinch closed.

ASSEMBLY

Thread up the tail from the head onto a large eye needle, pass the needle down into the head close to where you have just closed it up and bring it out through the top of the head, just to the side of your first row of stitches to the side of the Magic Ring. Leave your needle attached to this tail.

Turn the ghost sheet inside out so the tail from the Magic Ring is hanging down on the outside.

Move the tail from the sheet to one side and pick up the still threaded needle from the head.

Bring the tail from the head through the top of the sheet, just to the side of the Magic Ring, pull the yarn gently through and then pass the needle back through the center of the Magic Ring. Then place the needle through the center of the Magic Ring on the head and straight down through the bottom.

Remove the needle and thread up the tail from the sheet.

Pass the needle through the head, close to your starting stitches and straight down, coming out next to the tail from the head.

Pull gently so the head is sitting snugly against the top of the sheet (do not pull it super tight, you do not want to distort the shape of the sheet or the head) and double knot the tails together to secure them.

Thread up the 2 tail ends, pull those ends into the head and out in any direction. Cut these 2 tails - if you pull them taught just before you cut them, the ends will spring backside the head.

Flip the sheet the right way round, covering the head in the process.

EYES, MOUTH & BLUSH

Place your safety eyes between Rounds 6 & 7 of the sheet, 2 stitches apart.

For the mouth, bring your black yarn from the inside of the sheet to the outside, coming out in line with your safety eyes. Take the yarn in a straight line and go back into the sheet one stitch across. Then coming from the inside again, bring your needle out in the middle, just below the straight mouth line, come underneath the yarn to catch the loop and go back into the same spot where you brought out your needle. Pull gently to bring the straight line into a little smile then knot gently at the back and trim your ends.

For the blush, bring your needle from the inside of the sheet to the outside, coming out just below one of the safety eyes. Pop your needle back into the sheet, one stitch across towards the outside of the eye.

Knot at the back, trim your ends and repeat for the second cheek.

SHAPING YOUR GHOST

Take a moment to adjust your eyes so they are sitting flush - the posts from the safety eyes may distort the face a little so line them up and push the posts into the head inside the ghost.

Smooth your ghost sheet down over the head section then grab the sheet at the bottom and crush it!

This will give your ghost sheet folds which you can then pinch and shape to your liking.
