Crochet Crossed Double Crochet Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN
Hook Size(s): according to your yarn
Abbreviations:
• Ch = Chain
• SC = Single crochet
• DC = Double crochet
• Rep = Repeat
• St = Stitch
Foundation Row: Ch multiples of 2 until you get the desired width plus 1 for turning.
Row 1: Starting in the second ch from the hook, make 1 SC in each ch across.
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn.
Make 1 DC and rep *skip 1 st, 1 DC, 1 DC in the skipped st* across. Make sure to pull up the loops of the crossed DC so that their length is the same as the other st of the row.
To finish the row, make 1 DC in the last st of the row.
Row 3: Ch 1 and turn.
Make 1 SC in each st across.
Row 4: Ch 1 and turn.
Make 1 DC and rep *skip 1 st, 1 DC, 1 DC in the skipped st* across.
To finish the row, make 1 DC in the last st of the row.
Rows 5-onward: Rep rows 3 and 4 for as long as you’d like your project to be.
To make sure your project ends the way it started, end on a SC row.
