Crochet Snowflake WRITTEN PATTERN
USA STITCH TERMS
You can use any yarn and hook you would like.
Hook Size(s): according to your yarn
Abbreviations:
• Ch = Chain
• DC = Double Crochet
• SC = Single Crochet
• St = Stitch
• Picot = Chain 3, Slip Stitch into first Chain
Foundation: Ch 6, join with sl st in first ch.
Ch 1, *sc into ring, Ch 3. * Repeat * * 11 more times.
Join with a sl st after your final Ch 3
Sl st into the Ch 3 sp.
Round 2: Ch 1, SC into same Ch 3 sp.
* Ch 3, SC into the next Ch 3 sp. * Repeat around.
Join with a sl st to beginning SC after your final Ch 3
Round 3: Ch 1, SC into first sp.
* Ch 6, SC into next Ch sp.
Ch 3, SC in next Ch sp. *
Repeat * * until end.
Join with a sl st to beginning SC after your final Ch 3
Round 4: Sl st into first Ch 6 sp.
Ch 2, 5 DC into same Ch 6 sp. Picot, place 6 DC into same Ch 6 sp.
*SC into Ch 3 sp.
6 DC, Picot, 6 DC into Ch 6 sp. *
Repeat * * until end.
Finish: Pull up long loop, take hook out.
Turn snowflake, insert hook to top of beginning Ch 2 from last round.
Put yarn loop back on hook, and pull through the st.
Tie off, and weave in all loose ends.
