Crochet Shell Picot Stitch [Free Video Tutorial & Written Pattern!]

Crochet Shell Picot Lightweight Scarf / Wrap WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

You can use any yarn and hook you would like.

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

I used a 4.5mm hook and 2 x balls of Cygnet Boho in colourway "Zen"

Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain

DC = Double Crochet

St = Stitch

Picot = Chain 3, Slip Stitch into first Chain





PATTERN MULTIPLE 7 + 2

Foundation: Ch 30

Sk 5 chains, 2 DC in next ch. Ch 2. 2 DC into same Ch.

Ch 1, Picot, Ch 1

* Skip 6 chains, 2 DC in next ch. Ch 2. 2 DC into same Ch.


Ch 1, Picot, Ch 1 *

Repeat the steps between * * until last 3 chains.

Skip 2 chains, DC in last st.




Row 2: Ch 3, turn.

* Into Ch 2 sp from previous row place 2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC

Ch 1, Picot, Ch 1 *

Repeat the steps between * * until last Ch 2 sp.

DC in top of turning Ch.







Repeat Row 2 until the shawl is desired length.





Tie off, and weave in all loose ends.
