Crochet Moss Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN
USA STITCH TERMS
Hook Size(s): according to your yarn
In my sample blanket, I used Scheepjes Chunky Monkey Yarn with a 6mm Hook.
Colours used in my blanket (in order) Ochre, Mustard, Primrose, Lemon, Mint, Pistachio, Fern, Aqua, Eucalyptus, Mist, Smoke, Cornflower Blue, Teal, Passionfruit, Wild Orchid, Mauve, Amethyst, Bubblegum, Rose, Blush, Baby Pink, Peach, Jasmine & Cream.
Abbreviations:
• Ch = Chain
• Sl St = Slip Stitch
• Rep = Repeat
• St = Stitch
• Sk = Skip
• SC= Single Crochet
Foundation: Chain an even number, to create the width you desire.
Row 1: SC into the 4th Ch from your hook. Repeat *Ch 1, sk 1 Ch, SC into next st.* across.
If you are changing colours, be sure to attach new yarn in last st of the row.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn work. Work a SC in the Ch 1 sp from the previous row. Repeat *Ch 1, Sk SC from previous row. SC in Ch 1 sp from previous row. * Across.
End with your final SC in the turning chain space at the end of the row.
If you are changing colours, be sure to attach new yarn in last st of the row.
Repeat Row 2 until you reach the correct length for your project.
