Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

Abbreviations:

·       Ch = Chain

·       Inc = Increase

·       SC = Single crochet

·       DC = Double crochet

·       Rep = Repeat

·       St = Stitch


Interlocking Block Stitch

The pattern multiple is 6 plus 5.

Foundation Row: Ch any multiple of 6 + 5

Row 1: Starting in the fourth ch from the hook, make 2 DC and rep *ch 3, skip 3 st, 3 DC* across.

Attach the second colour.

Row 2: Ch 3 and turn. Rep *skip 3 st, 3 DC in the skipped st of the row below, ch 3* across. At the end, sl st in the last st of the row.

Attach the third colour.

Row 3: Ch 3 and turn. Make 2 DC in the st two rows below. Rep *ch 3, skip 3 st, 3 DC in the st two rows below* across.

Row 4: Ch 3 and turn. Rep *skip 3 st, 3 DC in the st two rows below, ch 3* across. At the end, sl st in the last st of the row.

Rows 5-onward: Rep rows 3 and 4 for as big as you want your project to be, changing colours at the start of each row.

Final Row: Ch 1 and turn. Rep *3 SC, 3 DC in the st two rows below* across.

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Weave in the ends.
